Having witnessed privacy evolve from a relatively overlooked function into a boardroom priority, Ms. Payal Sinha’s professional journey reflects her ability to adapt to a rapidly changing landscape. “I would like to change the perception that effective leadership must always be direct or authoritative, while qualities such as empathy, collaboration, and authenticity are considered soft skills. This mindset has influenced how women leaders are perceived and, sometimes, how women perceive themselves. Many women feel they need to be completely prepared, have all the answers, or continually prove themselves before pursuing new opportunities. I believe that needs to change.”

She further adds:

“Women should trust their expertise, embrace opportunities before they feel completely ready, and recognize the impact they can create.”
