“For the next generation, my advice is to never stop learning. Build a strong technical foundation, but do not limit yourself to your immediate area of expertise. Understand how the broader business works, learn from colleagues in other functions and remain curious. I believe being a polymath and a lifelong learner is a significant advantage today. Technology and business models will continue to evolve, and professionals must evolve with them. Deep expertise is valuable, but those who can connect technical knowledge with commercial understanding, communication and leadership will be best positioned to take on greater responsibilities.”
