BASF has appointed Yani Dong as Vice President. This strategic appointment reinforces the company’s focus on strong business growth, operational excellence, and strategic execution within its global portfolio.
Ms. Dong has a Master of Science, Engineering degree from Columbia University in the City of New York, where she built a solid foundation in global business and leadership. She brings more than 12 years of experience with BASF, making her a seasoned leader with deep company knowledge. She began her career at BASF in Hong Kong within the Nutrition and Health division, where she gained early exposure to business operations and strategic thinking.
She has also served as Managing Director, Surface Treatment Southeast Asia, for BASF’s Coatings business operating under the Chemetall brand. In this position, she was responsible for driving commercial performance, leading diverse teams, and advancing growth across the Southeast Asian market.
In her new role as Vice President at BASF, she will focus on shaping business strategy, strengthening customer partnerships, and driving performance across her area of responsibility. This appointment reflects BASF’s continued commitment to leadership development and market-focused execution.
