FedEx appointed Salil Chari as Regional President – Asia Pacific. This is a strategic leadership role where he will oversee the company’s operations across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and work towards the growth of global trade and logistics.
With over three decades of experience in global logistics, marketing, and customer experience. He has served for over 28 years at FedEx, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience for APAC. He has been with the company since 1997, holding leadership roles with a strong focus on customer-centric growth and regional expansion. His professional journey began at Procter & Gamble as a Product Development Analyst.
His academic qualifications are from Emory University – Goizueta Business School and the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of FedEx’s businesses across the region and leading a workforce of nearly 30,000 employees.
This appointment will establish strong leadership for the organisation that will strengthen the APAC region in the company’s global growth strategy. He will strategise to drive profitable growth, strengthening operational excellence and enhancing customer experience across APAC’s diverse and rapidly evolving markets.
