Kartik Chandrasekhar has been appointed Chief Growth Officer at Mars Snacking for Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and ANZ, marking a strategic leadership advancement as Mars accelerates commercial and brand growth across key global markets.
He has over 25 years of diverse experience spanning marketing, commercial leadership, and growth strategy. He began his career as a Management Trainee at Hindustan Unilever (HUL) and subsequently served as Head of Oral Care and Skin Cleansing for D&E Markets and Global Brand Lead of Pepsodent. Over the years, he served in multiple senior roles at Unilever across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and global brand leadership. He spent around 25 years with the organisation. He later joined Kellanova as Chief Commercial Officer.
He holds an MBA degree from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) of Mgmt Studies. In his new role, he will focus on unifying growth levers across marketing and sales functions, strengthening the portfolio of snacking brands, and driving coordinated regional expansion in alignment with Mars’ principles of quality, responsibility, mutuality, efficiency, and freedom.
With his appointment, the organisation will focus on sustained growth, innovation, and enhanced market impact.
