Gulf Air has appointed Jenan Al Askari as Vice President – Corporate Communications. This appointment will be strengthening the leadership team as the airline advances its strategic transformation agenda.
With more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications, strategic positioning, and executive advisory support. She has held senior leadership roles at Bapco Energies, where she led group-wide strategic communications initiatives that supported major transformation programs and stakeholder engagement efforts. She has also served as Head of Employee Engagement at Bapco Refining.
Her academic qualifications include studies from University of Portsmouth and London Business School. In her new role, she will lead Gulf Air’s corporate communications function, overseeing internal and external communications, media relations, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement. She will play a key role in aligning the airline’s communications strategy with corporate priorities and long-term objectives.
This appointment will strengthen the organisation’s leadership capabilities and enhance strategic communications as part of its transformation journey.
