Pinterest has appointed Damian Kim as Vice President – APAC. This is a strategic addition to the organisation’s regional leadership team as the visual discovery and inspiration platform expands its footprint across the Asia-Pacific market.
With over two decades of experience in the digital, media, and technology sectors. He holds expertise in product, sales, and regional leadership. He served for a decade at Microsoft, most recently as Director, Surface Devices – APAC. He also held senior leadership roles at Facebook as Director, Head of Gaming, Greater China Region, and at Meta as Managing Director, Head of Product – APAC.
He holds his academic qualifications from the University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business. In his new role, he will oversee Pinterest’s Asia-Pacific operations and enterprise business strategy, focusing on strengthening regional leadership, expanding advertiser partnerships, and driving growth across key markets in the region.
This appointment aims to strengthen Pinterest’s leadership presence across the Asia-Pacific region and accelerate its enterprise growth strategy in high-potential markets.
