Emarat – Emirates Petroleum Company P.J.S.C has appointed Burhan Al Hashemi as Chief Executive Officer. This appointment aims at strengthening Emarat’s strategic leadership and accelerating its growth across operational excellence, customer experience, and sustainability in the energy sector.

He brings nearly three decades of experience in the downstream energy industry with deep expertise in aviation fuels, lubricants, retail network fuel operations, gas, and industrial and marine fuel supply. During his professional journey, he held senior leadership roles as General Manager – EPPCO Lubricants at Eppco Lubricants. He spent 25+ years at ENOC, most recently serving as Managing Director – Commercial & International Sales, where he drove business expansion, operational improvements, and enhanced commercial performance across regional and international markets.

His leadership experience spans executive management, sales, and marketing across the energy value chain. He holds his academic qualifications from the University of Bradford and the University of Oxford. In his new role, he will lead the strategic agenda by focusing on operational efficiency, customer engagement, digital capability building, and talent development to deliver sustainable long-term value.

This appointment will strengthen leadership and drive performance excellence in a competitive energy landscape.
