Casey Sandler has been appointed Head of Distribution Management at Allianz Commercial Japan. This appointment reflects a strategic leadership decision as the global commercial insurance business strengthens its distribution strategy and market engagement in one of Asia’s key markets.

With more than a decade of experience in insurance and finance operations, with deep expertise in distribution strategy, financial oversight, and operational leadership.

He has served as a Staff Sergeant at the US Army, Lead Enterprise Readiness Office at DFAS, Lead Consultant at iSearch Recruiting and Executive Search, and as Interim Managing Director & Legal Representative at HDI Global SE.

In his new role, he will focus on spearheading a refreshed distribution strategy, strengthening relationships with brokers and partners, and advancing the company’s capability to deliver tailored, client-centric commercial insurance solutions in the Japanese market.

This appointment reinforces Allianz Commercial’s leadership readiness to navigate evolving market dynamics, drive profitable growth, and deliver enhanced value to clients and distribution partners across the region. He will lead the evolution of distribution management and broker engagement as Allianz Commercial deepens its presence and partnerships in Japan.
