Marico Limited has appointed Ankit Porwal as CEO – Beauty & Styling, Digital Business. This appointment aims to strengthen the leadership as the company accelerates its digital-first strategy and expands its presence in the fast-growing beauty and personal care segment.
With over two decades of experience in digital business, brand building, and growth strategy, he holds a deep expertise in scaling direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands and driving digital transformation. During his professional career, he has spent over a decade at L’Oréal, most recently serving as a Regional Director/GM, E-Commerce & Marketing Transformation, SAPMENA (Multidivision), where he was responsible for building the biggest digital, e-commerce, and Content and Data transformation centre for the SAP-MENA region. He also served as a Thailand – Regional Marketing Manager at Colgate-Palmolive, and as a Management Trainee / Area Sales Manager at Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting.
He holds his academic qualifications from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Prestige Institute of Management & Research, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), and CEDEP – Executive Development – Fontainebleau. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening the company’s beauty and styling digital portfolio, accelerating growth of its digital-first brands, and driving innovation aligned with the company’s long-term vision of building a strong, future-focused consumer products ecosystem.
His appointment will strengthen the company’s digital leadership and advance its transformation into a digitally driven, innovation-led organization positioned for sustained growth in the evolving beauty and personal care landscape.
