Ben Jones appointed as Chief Operating Officer, Asia-Pacific at Aon. This appointment is a strategic leadership addition that further strengthens Aon’s commitment to operational excellence and client-centric growth in one of its most dynamic regions.
With over 35 years of industry experience in operations, transformation, and strategic leadership across the financial services and insurance sectors. He holds deep expertise in driving operational performance, organisational transformation, and delivering value-added solutions that enhance client and colleague experiences.
Mr. Jones brings a wealth of high-level executive experience to Aon, having most recently served as the Chief Transformation and Operations Officer at Manulife. His career is defined by a series of regional leadership roles, including Country Chief Transformation Officer at Allianz Ayudhya and Regional Head of Operations – Asia Pacific at Allianz UK. Ben also held significant positions as Head of Transitions at IAG, Regional Operations Executive at AIG, and Senior Manager at Westfield. His diverse background is further bolstered by specialist roles as a Global Sustainability Consultant for Allianz and a Manager at Crowe Horwath International, giving him a holistic view of the financial services ecosystem.
Ben’s strategic leadership is underpinned by a robust academic and professional foundation. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Chartered Accountant (CA) through Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He holds both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce from the University of Technology Sydney, ensuring a balance of technical proficiency and advanced management theory.
In his role as COO, Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore, Mr. Jones will partner closely with regional and global teams to strengthen Aon’s operating model, support growth priorities, and deliver exceptional experiences for clients and colleagues across the region. His strategic priorities include enhancing operational capabilities, fostering innovation in service delivery, and reinforcing Aon’s market leadership in client outcomes.
