SAP has appointed Colin Png as Chief Marketing Officer and SVP, Asia Pacific. The appointment is considered a strategic move that reinforces the leadership of the company and strengthens its position as the company continues to expand its regional market presence and accelerate strategic marketing initiatives across one of its most dynamic growth regions.
With over three decades of experience in enterprise technology marketing and business leadership, and a deep expertise in regional marketing strategy, brand transformation, and demand generation. He has served as Vice President Marketing, Asia Pacific and Japan at UiPath, Global Senior Director, Head of Global Demand & Field Marketing at VMware, Vice President, Marketing, Asia Pacific & Japan at Riverbed Technology, Vice President, Enterprise Marketing, Asia Pacific & Japan at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Vice President, Marketing & Business Management,Asia Pacific & Japan at SAP.
He spent a decade at Microsoft, most recently serving as General Manager, Head of Business Operations & Marketing Organisation, Singapore. He holds his academic qualifications from Tsinghua University and INSEAD. In his new role, he will focus on advancing the marketing vision across Asia Pacific, strengthening brand influence, driving integrated marketing initiatives, and supporting enterprise customers in accelerating their digital transformation.
His appointment will position SAP to further enhance its regional impact, strengthen customer relationships, and reinforce its leadership in delivering innovative enterprise technology solutions across Asia Pacific.
