Hammam Juraied appointed as Executive Director at AGFUND

The Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) has announced the appointment of Hammam bin Nasser bin Juraied as its Executive Director. His appointment reflects AGFUND’s deepening focus on strengthening its operational framework, enhancing strategic partnerships, and expanding its development impact at both regional and international levels.

With over two decades of cross-sector leadership experience, he has driven initiatives that align institutional purposes with broader socio-economic goals, building effective systems, and fostering multi-stakeholder collaborations that advance organisational outcomes. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Development from King Saud University and is a graduate of the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School, complemented by executive training in leadership, communications, and development practice.

He has served in senior leadership capacities, including as Vice President for Strategic Partnerships and Communications at the برنامج خدمة ضيوف الرحمن | Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP), an executive programme aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, as Chief Executive Officer of the إخاء || المؤسسة الخيرية لرعاية الأيتام ||Ekhaa charity of orphans care Foundation, and as General Supervisor of the Developmental Housing Program at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing.

In 2025, he joined AGFUND as an adviser to the Chairman of the Board, adding strategic insight to the organisation’s development agenda. With this appointment, he will oversee AGFUND’s operational and strategic efforts, reinforcing institutional frameworks, accelerating efficiency, and expanding the organization’s developmental impact regionally and internationally.

Under his leadership, he will strengthen AGFUND’s contribution to sustainable development and support the organisation’s long-term vision of inclusive and effective humanitarian and development action.
