Asia Bankers Club has appointed Ian Banerjee as Managing Director. This appointment aims to strengthen the organization’s leadership as it expands its platform for senior banking professionals and fosters strategic collaboration across Asia’s financial services ecosystem.

With 25+ years of extensive experience in financial services, leadership development, and executive engagement. He holds a strong track record of working closely with senior banking professionals across global markets. He has served as a Butler at The Oberoi Group, as a Butler Manager at Oceania Cruises, Partner & Director Business Development at ROHI Global Services Pvt. Ltd and Sales Director of Specialty Travel Partnerships at Crescent Seas. He has spent over a decade at Global Anchor Holidays as a Managing Director.

He holds his academic qualification from the Indira Gandhi National Open University. In his new role, he will focus on expanding the organisation’s regional presence, strengthening its executive network, and driving initiatives that support collaboration, innovation, and leadership excellence. Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in building strategic relationships, driving community-led initiatives, and supporting knowledge exchange among financial industry leaders.
