Howden has appointed Jamie Wan as Senior Director – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) for Asia. This appointment aims to strengthen Howden’s M&A advisory and transaction insurance capabilities across Asia, supporting clients through increasingly complex and cross-border deals.

With over 14 years of specialised experience in M&A insurance and transaction advisory services. She most recently served as Head of Transaction Advisory Services for the AMATS (Asia) at Aon. Earlier in her career she also held senior roles at Marsh and began her industry journey in underwriting at Tokio Marine Insurance Group (Asia).

Her academic qualification is from National University of Singapore in Bachelor of Arts (Economics). In this expanded role, she will focus on enhancing the organisation’s M&A insurance solutions and supporting clients through complex transactions, risk structuring, and bespoke deal execution across the region’s evolving markets.

With her deep technical expertise and strategic approach, she will strengthen Howden’s ability to deliver tailored advisory support to private equity, corporate and cross-border clients alike. This leadership addition reflects Howden’s focus on strengthening client outcomes by expanding its expertise in complex, high-value M&A transactions across the region.
