Dubai Holding announced the appointment of Leonardo Caramazza as Director of Hospitality Investments. This marks a strategic move to strengthen the leadership role by shaping and driving Dubai Holding’s hospitality investment strategy, focusing on feasibility analysis, capital deployment, and long-term value creation across the group’s expanding hospitality portfolio in Dubai and international markets.
He holds extensive experience in hospitality investment, development, and advisory. He also held senior development roles at Jumeirah, where he was responsible for leading global hotel development and investment initiatives. His background also includes over four years with JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality practice in Spain. Earlier in his career, he gained operational experience with citizenM hotels and Hotel Des Indes. He also served at Hotelschool The Hague as Education Committee Board, giving him a well-rounded foundation in both the operational and investment sides of the hospitality sector.
In his new role, he will work to identify strategic investment opportunities, assess market trends, and optimize Dubai Holding’s hospitality asset allocation to support sustainable growth. His appointment comes at a time when Dubai and the United Arab Emirates are attracting significant global investment in hospitality, tourism infrastructure, and destination-led developments.
