Bayer has appointed Mohamed Galal as Senior Vice President – MENA Cluster Head. A strategic move towards the strengthening of Bayer’s leadership and growth in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region while driving regional business performance across healthcare, agriculture, and innovation-led solutions.
With over three decades of extensive experience in leadership, commercial strategy, and business transformation across international markets. He has served for over two decades at Bayer, where, most recently, before being promoted to SVP – MENA Cluster Head, he held the position of VP – Middle East Country Cluster Head. During his professional career, he also served as a Medical Representative at Pfizer and a Sales Supervisor at Eli Lilly and Company. Over the years, he has held a proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence throughout his career with deep expertise in regional and global market leadership.
During his professional journey, Galal has held senior leadership roles with multinational organizations, where he led cross-functional teams and executed strategic initiatives in diverse markets.
He holds his education qualification from Cairo University. In his new role, he will oversee Bayer’s strategic operations across the Middle East and North Africa, focusing on enhancing business impact, fostering innovation, and strengthening customer and partner engagement across the cluster.
His experience spans commercial operations, market expansion strategies, and partnership development that contributed to strong performance outcomes. This appointment aims to bolster its regional leadership and advance long-term growth in key emerging markets.
