Hamad Al-Khater has joined Qatar Airways as its new Group Chief Executive Officer. He is succeeding Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer.
Al-Khater brings a strong track record in aviation and operations to the role. He has served leadership roles at Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha, where he oversaw airport operations, infrastructure expansion and passenger-experience enhancements. He has also worked with QatarEnergy, QAFCO (Qatar Fertiliser Company), Qatar Petroleum, and Shell.
