Kantar has appointed Rika Sharma as Executive Managing Director for its Southeast Asia Cluster and Singapore business. With this appointment, the company aims towards strategic growth and commercial initiatives across the Southeast Asia region and Singapore.
With over three decades of digital and marketing leadership experience spanning North America and the Asia Pacific. She has served as Head of Agency, Partner & Industry Relations, APAC at Google, Board Member at The Esplanade Co Ltd, Regional Board Member SEA & India at IAB SEA+India, Ex – Co Board Member at Association of Advertising & Marketing Singapore (AAMS), Managing Director at Publicis Groupe, Committee Member, Commerce Committee at IAB SEA+India, Managing Partner & Regional Digital Lead, Large Business at Ogilvy, Marketing and Communications Manager at PCI, and Consulting Associate at Genesis BCW.
She completed her academic studies at Carleton University, Colonel By Secondary School, and Air Force Bal Bharati School. Throughout her career, she has been recognised as a thought leader and industry influencer, serving on advisory boards and earning accolades. In her new role, she will work to deepen Kantar’s regional impact by fostering strong client partnerships, accelerating momentum across key markets, and building high-impact teams across Singapore and the broader Southeast Asia cluster.
This appointment is a focus on strengthening regional operations, aligning with the company’s global vision, and driving long-term business performance.
