Accenture has announced the appointment of Toshihiro Shimizu as Principal Director. This is a strategic appointment move that focuses on strengthening the organisation’s leadership in technology consulting and digital transformation initiatives across its global advisory operations.

With over two decades of experience in technology leadership, digital engineering, and innovation strategy. Over the course of his career, he has served as a Deputy General Manager of R&D at Dwango corp and senior leadership at アイデミー. During his career, he has held senior leadership roles at various organizations, where he contributed to advancing AI-driven technology platforms and engineering capabilities.

He holds a strong academic foundation from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in engineering and computer science. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading strategic consulting engagements, supporting enterprise digital transformation programs, and strengthening Accenture’s technology and innovation advisory capabilities for clients.
