AmMetLife has announced the appointment of Wan Saifulrizal Wan Ismail as Chief Executive Officer, strengthening its leadership as the company continues to expand its insurance and protection offerings in Malaysia.

With over a decade of experience across the insurance and takaful industry, including roles as an actuary, regulator, and senior leader. During his professional career, he served as Deputy Director/Actuary at Bank Negara Malaysia, Director at WTW, where he led the Insurance Consulting practice of Towers Watson in Malaysia, and as a Chief Executive Officer at Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad.

He holds a strong academic qualification from KTJ Primary Secondary Academia Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from City City St George’s, University of London.
