GE HealthCare announced the appointment of Heewon Shin as Strategic Account Director – AKA (ASEAN, Korea & ANZ). This appointment will play a key leadership role within its global commercial organization.

With over two decades of extensive experience in strategic relationship management and business development, she brings a strong commercial and client-centric mindset to GE HealthCare. She has served at Siemens Healthineers for 20 years, most recently as Head of Imaging and Therapy, where she spearheaded sales and marketing strategies for Diagnostic Imaging and Advanced Therapy portfolios, driving significant market growth. She also served as a research assistant at Seoul National University Hospital.

Her academic qualifications are from Hanyang University and Inje University. She will play a strategic role at the center to strengthen long-term relationships with major healthcare clients in ASEAN, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, and to expand the company’s footprint in these dynamic markets. In this role, she will oversee key account management, develop comprehensive account strategies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful healthcare solutions.

With her appointment, it is expected to further enhance the company’s engagement with strategic customers and contribute to continued growth across the AKA region. This reflects the company’s commitment to investing in experienced leadership to drive customer-focused excellence and long-term regional success.
