AIA Malaysia appointed Zee Wang Heng as the CEO for Malaysia. With over 30 years of expertise in the industry, he has held roles across multiple markets, such as marketing, finance, and healthcare, across Singapore, the UK, Hong Kong, and Korea.
In his new role, Heng will lead AIA’s life insurance and other business entities in Malaysia, with a focus on enhancing market leadership, driving growth, and delivering transformative outcomes. Before this appointment, he played a pivotal role in the successful integration of INGMalaysia into AIA.
Heng succeeds Ben Ng, who will take on the role of Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO) designate beginning 1 January 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
Before joining AIA, he had worked with PrudentialAssuranceMalaysia Berhad, NewYorkLifeInternational, PrudentialCorporation Asia, and PCALife. He has been associated with AIA, for over a decade and has contributed significantly across the organization through leadership positions.
