Schneider Electric has appointed Niharika Mohan as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its Greater India Zone. This appointment represents a strategic leadership move at a critical phase of organisational growth and workforce transformation.

With over 20 years of professional experience in human resources and organisational leadership spanning multiple industries and complex global markets. She began her career in 2000 as an HR Business Partner at Tata Consultancy Services. She later joined Hewitt Associates LLC (now part of Aon), focusing on compensation and benefits consulting.

During her tenure at Schneider Electric, Mohan has held a series of increasingly senior HR leadership roles. She has served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd, a Schneider Electric entity. Mohan holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from Delhi University, grounding her strategic HR perspective in organisational behaviour and human development.

In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping and executing the People & Culture strategy, driving leadership acceleration, strengthening talent pipelines, and fostering an inclusive performance culture that supports business priorities. Mohan’s appointment underscores Schneider Electric’s strategic emphasis on talent leadership as a core enabler of growth, culture enhancement, and long-term organisational success.
